E-CAESAR SETUP PROJECTThe vision of the Centre for Advanced Studies on Electronic Services is represented by the advanced research in the e-Service arena, especially in the field of e-Government, as well as to set up an e-Service platform in Romania and its East European neighbours. The activities of the e-CAESAR centre are supported by a network of partners from the industry, administration, universities, Romanian research centres and other Fraunhofer Institutes. E-CAESAR Centre is acting as a local contact and focal point for the Fraunhofer Institut FOKUS as one of the founding members. The setup of E-CAESAR centre is going to be from the first year of activity a process in continuous development. The activity of the centre will be set up and operated following the example set by the Fraunhofer eGovernment Centre. The first year of activity was the beginning of the research activity, the building up of the e-Government centre, acquiring new research projects and disseminating the results, participating to workshops and conferences. E-CAESAR LaboratoryE-CAESAR, in cooperation with partners from academic environment, business, government and administration, creates more added-value and economically viable solutions within the Research Center, Competence Center, Laboratory and Showcase.
