SPOCS (2010-2011)Public administrations from all member states will face considerable changes due to the EU Services Directive, which is to be transferred into national law by December 2009. Therefore, the European Commission has launched the SPOCS project, which covers current issues concerning cross-border interoperability in the context of the European Services Directive.
trustedSafe® (2010)trustedSafe® enables the trusted and safe storage of documents in public and private clouds. trustedSafe® ensures that only the owner of a documents has full control on them. Trust and safeness are guaranteed by using a combination of highly secure methods.
nPA Connector (2010)nPA Connector consists in an application which allows a secure identification of a certain user using an electronic identity card (eID) over the Internet.
PrO (2009-2010)The demands the public sector makes on citizens and businesses can be a complex undertaking. In many cases several locations must be dealt with, documents must be provided and forms need to be filled out. This is where the PrO Processor starts its job, playing its role of integrating companies with public institutions via secured and legally compliant communication channels.
EUSD-RO (2009)EUSD-RO The strategic consortium E-CAESAR and Fraunhofer FOKUS are working together to realize the EU-Services Directive (EU-SD) in the European member states. The goal of the project is to create a stable and flexible framework for implementing the core infrastructure of the SD necessary to satisfy the requirements of the European Commission with respect to service providers and the tasks of the Points of Single Contact.
E-CAESAR SETUP (2009)The main objective of E-CEASAR SETUPare the fulfilling of research and development in the field of interoperability, efficient and secure e-Government service-oriented architectures, infrastructures and systems. In the future E-CAESAR will act simultaneously as a Research Centre, Competence Centre, Laboratory and Showcase.The setup of E-CAESAR centre will be a process in continuous development. The activity of the centre will be set up and operated following the example set by the Fraunhofer eGovernment Centre. The E-CAESAR first year process will be the beginning of the research activity, the building up of the eGovernment centre, acquiring of the new research projects, disseminating the results, participating to workshops and conferences.
