Implementation of the European Service Directive (EUSD) in Romania


The E-CAESAR Workshop will be a part of the "THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INFORMATICS IN ECONOMY” organized by the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics (ECSI) and held at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.


Within the e-Government Section the participants at the conference will present trend-setting ideas about e-Government research. The E-CAESAR Workshop comes as a sequel of the Opening Event of the E-CAESAR Centre, where e-Government applications and the implementation of the EU Services Directive where presented as guidelines for cross-border collaboration and development of complex IT solutions.


On May 8, 2009 E-CAESAR representatives will present the actual stage of the E-CAESAR Centre in the field of interoperability, efficient and secure e-Government service-oriented architectures, infrastructures and systems. Modern ideas over the implementation of e-Government in Romania and the concept of electronic Point of Single Contact will be lectured by the representatives of the Agency for the Services of Information Society.


EUSD-RO project is oriented on how to implement European Services Directive in Romania starting with the Public Administration documentation process, continuing with the Public Administration Process of analysis and modeling and ending with technologies and framework of the EUSD-RO implementation. German experience in successful implementation of European Services Directive will complete the perspective over the event and be lectured by the representative of the Fraunhofer Fokus Institute.
